Tanji Fishing Village

A very nice trip to meet also local people is trip to Tanji fishing village.

At the beach of Tanji fishing boats are landing on the beach and bring their catches fish to the market which is taking place at beach too. You will see and experience yourself restaurant owners buying fish straight after landing of fishing boats. Also Gambian local people buying their fish at market.

In Tanji also you can also see activities in the smoking sheds in which fish will be smoked. Taste a piece of smoked fish with me in Tanji fish market.
